This class will introduce linocut printmaking, by carving linoleum blocks to use with floor or table top printing presses. Students can expand their printmaking skills with line, shape, patterns, form, and more. With a brief introduction to different relief types and how to build up colors with multiple carved blocks, students can gain insight and confidence for future printmaking projects. All experience levels are welcome. The printmaking studio utilizes non-toxic materials; all students are asked to review the 2024-25 printmaking studio guidelines (provided upon registration) ahead of their first class in the space.
