The UW Health Learning Kitchen at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI has cooking classes for all skill levels!Cooking class detail:
Looking for fun ways to use those fresh summer market finds? Join Chef Taylor Johnson in the Learning Kitchen for this hands-on cooking class where we'll make two mocktail and snack pairings perfect for healthy summer snacking!
What We'll Be Cooking:
- Watermelon 'Mockjitos' & Caprese Skewers: Learn how to make a fruity non-alcoholic twist on a mojito! This watermelon version pairs perfectly with quick tomato, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic caprese skewers.
- Pineapple Paradise Cooler & Veggie Spring Rolls: If you like pina coladas, you'll love this non-alcoholic version! Fresh veggie spring rolls with a tangy mango dipping sauce will bring tropical vibes to your kitchen.
Who Should Attend:
- Anyone interested in trying seasonal, plant-forward cooking
