The UW Health Learning Kitchen at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI has cooking classes for all skill levels!
Cooking class details:
Grab a partner, loved one, or friend and join us for a pre-Halloween cooking class celebrating seasonal fall harvest ingredients! We will be enjoying a healthy Halloween menu full of fall produce.
Feel free to wear a fun costume that will still allow you to safely cook (free movement of arms and legs, closed-toed shoes, sleeves that can be rolled up). If you choose to wear a costume, it must also follow these UW Health guidelines:

• Does not disrupt patient care or create a safety/security concern. (For example, no nurse/doctor costumes.)
• Appropriate for all ages with no offensive or frightening characters. (No political or religious figures or cultural stereotypes.)
• Does not include masks or makeup that would not allow someone to identify you.
• No items that resemble weapons of any kind (firearms, swords, knives).

We will be making:

• Moroccan-Spiced Squash & Chickpea Stew: Squash is the star of this seasonal dish with warm spices and a hearty, cozy feel.
• Spiced Cider: Stay hydrated while cooking with this perfect fall mocktail celebrating apples.
• Pumpkin Chia Pudding: No Halloween would be complete without pumpkin! Enjoy a fall twist on a classic chia pudding.

Cost: The cost is for one couple or two people cooking together. One person in the pair must register for the event.

Register by Thursday, October 23rd.
Registration Cancellation Policy:To cancel your registration, email culinarymedicine@uwhealth.org. Please note that cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled class are non-refundable.
