The UW Health Learning Kitchen at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI has cooking classes for all skill levels!
Cooking class detail:
Join Registered Dietitians Megan Rolfson, Megan McFarlane, and Mackenzie Burke to learn more about cooking with Chronic Kidney Disease!
Balancing good nutrition and chronic conditions. We will be talking about what we CAN eat, instead of restriction, how to preserve kidney health, and tips for summer grilling.

What We'll Be Cooking:
  • Flavorful Tofu & Veggie Kabobs: Learn how to make a plant-forward main dish packed with flavor!
  • Bright Citrus Cold Lentil Salad: Perfect your make ahead sides with this quick and delightful dish of lentils and veggies in a citrusy dressing.
  • Seasonal Grilled Fruit: Indulge your sweet tooth with sun-ripened grilled fruit topped with coconut yogurt.
  • Refreshing Tropical Mocktail: Stay hydrated while you cook with this beach-ready beverage.
