The UW Health Learning Kitchen at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI has cooking classes for all skill levels!
Cooking class detail:
Join Registered Dietitian Mackenzie Burke for a hands-on class focused on cooking your dinner in one pot! For heart healthy diets, we want to monitor the amount of sodium we are intaking. It can be difficult to find recipes that are flavorful that also reduce the amount of salt we are using.
What We'll Be Cooking:

• Bright Summery Mocktail: Mix up a refreshing beverage to keep you hydrated while cooking!
• Homemade Pesto and Zucchini Pasta: Learn how to make your own herb and walnut pesto, a perfect sauce for your veggies and pastas.
• Decadent Chocolate Cherry Cookies: Finish the meal with a sweet treat full of chocolate chips and dried cherries.

Who Should Attend:

• Anyone interested in low sodium cooking
• Home cooks of all skill levels
