Description

Explore the spectacular Tortolita Mountains on a guided hike led by our knowledgeable and safety-conscious guides. The Natural Resources team from the Town of Marana and the Pima County Chapter of Arizona Master Naturalists will escort participants along well-maintained trails, sharing insights about the unique features and wildlife of the Sonoran Desert. The Town of Marana Parks and Recreation Department offers these monthly hikes as an opportunity for participants to learn, exercise, and connect with fellow hikers in a beautiful outdoor setting. Most hikes start at the Wild Burro Trail head located within the Ritz Carlton Resort (North Secret Springs Drive) 14810 North Secret Springs Drive Marana, AZ 85658

• Wear suitable hiking shoes or boots.
• Bring a snack if you tend to get hangry.
• Carry a minimum of 2 liters of water per person.
• Consider sun protection
• Bring hiking poles if you desire.

• There are no restrooms or water stations on the trail.
• Pets are not permitted (Service animals are OK).
• Hikers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Hiking can be challenging; hikers should be aware of their physical abilities and that of their children.
