Business & Finance is vital for students to learn how to communicate effectively and manage their funds in the real world. Our club focuses on entrepreneurship, business management, and finance, delving into the technicalities of how to create a business and invest in the stock market. In the first half of this year-round club, we will be focusing on the business aspect and participating in multiple business pitch competitions both inside and outside of the club. Middle schoolers and high schoolers will take part in a club competition and be prepared for the school business pitch competition. High schoolers will be attending the Diamond Challenge, a prestigious international entrepreneurship competition coached by a Diamond Challenge finalist. The second half of the year will focus on managing money and finances. The course will cover everything from filing taxes to investing in stocks and bonds, so students gain critical insight into how managing money works in the real world. Throughout the year, there will be many drills and games that help members develop speaking and pitching skills when presenting in public and in front of judges.
