The first rule of Chica Weekend: No annoying husbands or boyfriends trying to teach you how to surf allowed! This is a weekend without stress and with a lot of camaraderie while learning to "surf like a girl" (which these days is a very high compliment!) The weekend includes balance and strength training, yoga, meditation, a Saturday night fire pit dinner with live music, a Sunday afternoon Costa Rican style brunch, and, oh yeah, surfing ... lots and lots of surfing under the direction of the Head Chica, Sophia Pickett. All participating Chicas are invited to spend the nights here behind the shop in tents, vans, remodeled school buses, RVs, pick-up trucks .,.. whatever. We even have a very cool Geodesic Dome/Yurt that can be rented for the weekend. Or, if you live locally, you can just show up each day and have a blast! Please note: The two day session refers to the activities on the Saturday and Sunday activities, but all Chicas are invited to come on the Friday night for an informal good time and There will will be a fire pit and the opportunity to camp out and get to know the other Chicas and just have a good time that may even include an evening surf session Activity Hours are expected to be 8 AM to 8 PM on Saturday and 8 AM to 2 PM on Sunday. These hours may change during the weekend due to weather and wave quality.
