One week.  One incredible Shakespeare play.  Are you up for the challenge? Award-winning educators, Amy & Phoenix, use their first-class understanding of Shakespeare's original text to create endlessly entertaining performances from their young actors. It will be fun, but it won’t be easy. This class will culminate with a performance on the last day at 2:00 pm. This Summer, we will be bringing to life one of William Shakespeare's classic comedies, As You Like It. After her uncle usurps the throne and banishes her from the royal court, Rosalind and her cousin, Celia, escape into the Forest of Arden and find Orlando, Rosalind's love. Disguised as a male shepherd, Rosalind has Orlando woo her under the guise of "curing" him of his love for Rosalind. Rosalind reveals she is a woman in disguise and marries Orlando during a group wedding at the end of the play. Full-day camp students should be sent to YTN with a packed lunch and two snacks that do not need to be in a refrigerator or microwaved.
