Women's Competitive Indoor Volleyball League (Divisions A-1, A-2, A-3)

This competitive-level women's indoor volleyball league is designed for advanced players with a strong understanding of game strategies and fundamentals. Jump serving is permitted and officials will call technical fouls and infractions not typically enforced in recreational play. Matches are fast-paced and competitive but still maintain a fun atmosphere.

Each division will include 8 teams and may have promotion/relegation between divisions at the end of the season based on league performance and/or tournament finish.

Divisions:

• A-1 & A-2 play at the Broadway Recreation Center (BRC)
• A-3 plays at the Eagles Community Center

League Details:

• Game nights: Thursdays
• Regular Season length: 7 weeks
• Tournament: Single elimination, including all teams
• Format: Round-robin, one match per night (3 games per match)
• Scoring: First 2 games to 25, third to 15 (rally scoring)
• Start time: Matches begin no earlier than 6:30pm
• Team size: 6 vs 6 format

Division Placement:

• Returning teams: placement base on prior season record and/or tournament finish
• New teams: Typically placed in A-3, unless strong evidence is provided to justify higher placement
• Placement requests will be considered but not guaranteed
• Registration is for full teams only, first come, first served

As the person registering your team, you are designated as the Team Manager and are responsible for ensuring your players know league rules and policies. Please start gathering your teams roster info (Name & email) now. You will be contacted via email at least 10 days before the season starts to input your roster on www.teamsideline.com/mesaaz along with info regarding schedules.

We do take schedule requests into consideration as well.
A transfer or refund (minus a $50 non-refundable fee) will be provided up to five business days before the activity begins
This policy also applies to teams who are removed from the league for registering in a lower or higher division than approved.
No changes are allowed within seven days of the activity’s start date.
