Swim Miami is back on April 12th, 2026 at the Miami Marine Stadium!
Set in an amazing pristine, generally calm water environment that will definitely allow for all ages and abilities to enjoy the fast growing sport of Open Water Swimming. Challenge yourself to one of five amazing races: The Corporate 800 Meter Swim, The Miami Mile Swim, The 5km Swim, The 10km Swim, or The K9-Krawl Championship! This is the premiere open water event that you wouldnt want to miss in the USA!

PRE-EVENT REQUIREMENTS
- Pre-Event Check-in on April 11, 2026 from 2:00-6:00pm at teh Miami Marine Stadium.
- Race Day Check-in will be available starting one and a half hours before your race.
– All participants must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to race start.
– Changes will be allowed for a $10 fee.

RACE STARTING TIMES:
- 8:00 AM: 800-Meter Swim begins
- 8:15 AM: 10K Swim begins
- 9:45 AM: 5K Swim begins
- 10:30 AM: Miami Mile Swim begins
- 11:00 AM: K9-Krawl Championship begins
- 12:45 PM: Course closes completely
Award Ceremony:
We will award the first 3 male and female overall swimmers (not by age group) after each race.
Every swimmer walks away with a limited edition finisher medal. These are truly special and a great memento for the year you've had in open water swimming.

5K: 3 hours
SWIM DETAILS
Sanctioned By: World Open Water Swim Association – WOWSA
Water Temperature: 81-82 degrees (F)
Safety: Current World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA) rules will govern this meet. Safety rules as outlined by WOWSA and as recommended by the referee, will be in effect.
Water Entry: This event will employ an in-water start and beach finish. All entries will be feet first and controlled by the safety officer. There are no racing dives permitted.
Hydration Station: There will be a hydration station with water and electrolytes provided by the race crew this year but you must assign someone to provide your feed.
