Our YMCA soccer skills clinics are at the heart of community engagement, helping young athletes develops skills, teamwork, and a love of the game. We rely on volunteers to make this possible, and we'd love for you to join us as a coach! By volunteering, you'll play a key role in fostering sportsmanship and personal growth in our young players.
To ensure the safety and success of all involved, all youth sports coaches are required to complete a national SSN background check, online child abuse prevention and athlete protection training.

*The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our programs. We hold all volunteers regardless of service project, to the highest possible standards. We require volunteers that are working with youth to be screened regularly and sign a code of conduct. All volunteers will be monitored when interacting with program participants. We rake any inappropriate interactions between program participants and with volunteers very seriously and will fully cooperate with authorities in any case of abuse.
