This inclusive, project-based 14-week class is designed for neurodiverse and community learners looking to build real-world skills using Microsoft Excel. Students will learn how to use formulas and functions, format data, create dropdown menus, and sort and filter datasets. They’ll also explore how to summarize information visually through charts and graphs, making data easier to understand and apply.
Throughout the course, students will strengthen executive functioning skills such as time management, planning, budgeting, and decision-making through hands-on, practical activities. Each participant will complete a personal project based on their own interests, ensuring the learning experience is both meaningful and relevant.
Please Note:- Class held at Inclusive World, 106 S. Park Victoria Dr., Milpitas.- A material fee of $20 is due to the instructor at the first class meeting. - Participants should bring a laptop (windows 10 or later, or one of the recent versions of Mac OS), notebook, and a pen/pencil.- No class held on 11/26.
