Description

Kendo, "The Way of the Sword," is rooted in the sword techniques of the ancient Japanese warrior "Samurai." This martial art conditions the body and spirit through exhilarating and demanding exercises. The beginner class focuses on the basics and understanding the characteristics of kendo. Please Note:- Participants should wear Kendo uniforms.- Participants should bring a Kendo-gu, two Shinai, and one Bokuto.- No class held on 11/26.- Classes held on 10/15, 11/5, 12/3, and 2/18 will be held in the Senior Center Community Room (40 N. Milpitas Blvd., Milpitas).
