Description

Finish the summer by learning a new skill! In this two-hour workshop, learn rod-and-reel fishing basics, including how to put together a pole, knot tying, casting and baiting a hook. Safety and ethics will also be covered. In the second hour, participants gain hands-on experience fishing along the shore. Everything needed for the program, including bait, will be provided. Monee Reservoir has accessible shoreline and facilities.

Ages 7 or older. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
