Students in A2-Advanced First Semester should be able to: Understanding: The language learner should be able to understand descriptions of persons and objects. They should be able to understand pros and cons of situations/topics. The language learner should have a vocabulary to understand articles based on topics about the EU, immigration and relationships. Speaking: The language learner should be able to speak about the environment and how it changes. He/she should be able to share different points of views on topics like the EU, immigration and relationships. Reading: The language learner should be able to read more complex articles related to the following topics: energy, natural environment and life-long learning. Writing: The language learner should be able to write essays with the use of 500-1000 words. He/she should be able to share his/her point of view. Grammar: Pronominal adverbs, reflexive pronouns, genitive, future I, subjunctive II, subordinate sentences with “während” and “seit”. Participle as an adjective will be covered.
