The Evergreen Fly Fishing Club is offering a 12-week fly tying class designed to take you from beginner to intermediate skill level in this fun and rewarding hobby. Whether you're brand new or looking to sharpen your technique, you'll find a welcoming environment as we start with the basics and build each week.Each session features a proven fly pattern that’s effective in Pacific Northwest waters. You’ll also receive expert tips on fishing techniques—how and when to use each fly—from twelve of the club’s most experienced fly tiers and anglers. Instructors and seasoned students will sit alongside you, offering guidance and support as needed.All tying materials and hooks required to tie two or three flies will be provided weekly, along with clear, written instructions for each pattern.Please bring your own fly tying vise and tools (bobbin, thread, scissors, hair stacker, head cement, etc.). A detailed list of required items will be emailed to you before the first class. If you're just getting started and don’t yet have your own gear, loaner vises and tools will be available during the first session.
