About this event
In Woodworking 201, students will build on the skills learned in Woodworking 101, diving deeper into more advanced woodworking techniques and projects. They will refine their use of power tools, learning to safely and effectively operate equipment like drills, routers, and sanders to create more complex and precise pieces. Students will continue developing their ability to read and create detailed plans, with an emphasis on advanced joinery, finishing techniques, and creating custom designs. This course will challenge students to think critically about both the design and construction of their projects while reinforcing the importance of precision and craftsmanship. Through hands-on projects, students will not only strengthen their technical skills but also continue to build problem-solving abilities, creativity, and confidence as they tackle more intricate woodworking challenges. By the end of the course, students will be ready to take on larger, more sophisticated projects with a higher level of skill and expertise. Woodworking 101 is a prerequisite for this class. Teachers: Mitchell Green & Evan Lacy (The Forge Nashville)
