Designed for 6th–9th graders and led by Curve Language Arts teacher Kendra Andrus, this one-day event blends thoughtful discussion with fun, hands-on activities that bring the magical world of young Nikolas to life. As we follow Nikolas on his journey from ordinary boy to the legend we now know as Father Christmas, students will explore themes of hope, kindness, courage, and belief. Alongside lively discussion, we’ll dive into creative projects like crafting magical maps of Elfhelm, designing our own Christmas traditions, writing wish-granting letters, and enjoying holiday-inspired treats. Whether you've read the book already or are just beginning, this whimsical workshop is the perfect way to celebrate storytelling, friendship, and the magic of believing. Come ready to imagine, create, and get into the holiday spirit! Students should read the book before book club (or listen to the audio book). **All workshops include a break for lunch and outside/inside time with friends.
