Get ready for a blast from the past! In this fun and interactive class, students will discover and play beloved classic group board games that have been entertaining families and friends for generations. Chess will still be a main focus of the class, but we will also incorporate nostalgic favorites like Sorry! and Trouble and strategic games like Scrabble and Taboo. Students will learn the rules, tactics, and social skills necessary to become a game night master! Class Objectives Learn the rules and objectives of classic group board games Develop social skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork through gameplay Improve critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Enhance vocabulary, communication, and public speaking skills Make new friends and have fun in a relaxed and supportive environment Teacher: Andrew Rose
