In our high school Career Development and Internship class, students will gain the skills and knowledge they need to prepare for the workforce and explore their future career paths. The class will focus on building essential job readiness skills, such as resume writing, interview techniques, communication, and time management, all while helping students identify their strengths and career interests. Through guided activities and career assessments, students will gain insight into various industries and job roles that align with their passions. Additionally, students will receive support in securing internships with local businesses, giving them hands-on experience in a professional environment. Estimated out-of-class homework time: 1 hour or less/week. Internship placements will require additional hours outside of class. Teacher: Rebecca Stone
