Description
All age program. It’s summer weapons time. This year we revisit that lovely, subtle, sneaky form – MAI Fan. What other weapon lets you wallop someone and keep yourself cool? None. Trust me. Fan will challenge your balance, grip, and brain. And all the young kids will think, “that quaint person is carrying a manual fan. Can’t even afford a USB rechargeable fan.” But you’ll know. You’ll know that USB fans don’t make a satisfying – whump.
Prior Tai Chi experience is helpful but not required. Adventurous beginners are welcome. You will need a fan. A regular fan does not work; it must be a martial arts fan. If you have regular size hands order 13” fan, large hands a 15” fan. Do NOT order a metal fan. You can order a fan from https://www.kungfudirect.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=59_118_126If you have questions, contact us on our website TC4ALL.com
Instructors: Andrew Baker & Chloe Pittinos, Movement Arts Institute. Andrew is a long term Tai Chi practitioner and advocate, an experienced and certified adult educator, a professional coach specializing in change management and a published writer. Chloe Pittinos- Instructor, Level II TC4HB/TC4 Forms Instructor
