The course aims to provide students with an in-depth exploration of various Graphic Novels (Comic Books) and Manga examples, guiding them through the step-by-step process of creating a graphic novel. We will kick off by brainstorming ideas and selecting a theme to develop individual storytelling. Students will have the opportunity to develop characters, construct character sheets, capture emotions, and word building. We then will break down the story into sequential pages outlining character dialogues and inner thoughts. By the conclusion of the course, students will present a finished, inked, and colored book!
