1 Monday, October 13, 12:00 - 4:00 pm Create a Fall Pumpkin Taught by Maureen Coughlan, 18+ $44 Member / $48 Non-member 🎃 Fall Stained Glass Class – Create Your Own Pumpkin! 🍁 Join us this October for a fun and festive stained glass workshop where you'll create a beautiful pumpkin sun catcher to decorate your home for the season! In this hands-on, 4-hour class, you'll learn the basics of the Tiffany-style method — wrapping glass pieces with copper foil, soldering them together, and applying black patina to make your design pop. We'll finish with a polish that gives your piece a long-lasting shine. No experience necessary — you'll leave with a handmade creation that's all your own and skills to build on! Students will pay a $22 materials fee directly to the instructor Spaces are limited, so grab your spot soon! The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class. Maureen took her first glass class in 2004 to create a simple suncatcher—and she hasn’t stopped since. Over the past 20+ years, her love for glass has grown into a passion, evolving into a wide range of work including suncatchers, wind chimes, panels, and intricate stained glass lamps.
