1 Friday. May 16 June 2, 9:00 - 11:00 am Creative Cycles: Summer Taught by Alyssa May $15 Member / $20 Non-member Creative work is nebulous in nature, and can be lonesome. We must find ways to create structure for ourselves, engage with others, stay inspired, and ultimately bring our visions to life. In this seasonal creative workshop, we'll use journaling prompts and open discussion to support each other in building creative systems that work for us. We'll look to the seasons for guidance, considering the wisdom they have to share on the creative cycles of rest, inspiration, action, and celebration. Participants may bring their own journal from home or use a scrap journal provided. At the end of the session participants will each choose a word or phrase as an anchor for the season. They will leave with a card of a spring image with their chosen mantra inside. - Alyssa May is a watercolor artist, yoga enthusiast, and aspiring novelist who strives for a life of balance. She loves feeling connected to nature and letting the seasons inspire her work. She's excited to connect with other local artists and engage in thoughtful conversations about the creative process.
