1 Monday, June 30, 5:00 - 8:00 pm Pop-Up Books Taught by Sammi Madanat, 18+ $38 Member / $41 Non-member In this hands-on class, students will design and build their very own six-page pop-up book using a variety of mixed media techniques. While learning the fundamentals of paper engineering—such as folds, tabs, and mechanisms—students will be encouraged to bring their own stories, imagination, and flair to each page. Whether it’s whimsical, wild, or wonderfully weird, every book becomes a one-of-a-kind creation. All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary—just a love of art and a dash of curiosity! The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class.
