About this event

Description

Hospice care is often misunderstood as only for the final days of life, but it offers comfort and support much earlier for those with chronic or life-limiting conditions. This session will explain how hospice works, who it helps, and why choosing it sooner can lead to better, more meaningful time with loved ones. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of hospice services and feel more confident making informed care decisions. Presented by, Kelly Atkinson with Enlight Hospice of VA.

Please join Angie Morriss from Crater Community Hospice for a video presentation of this "Universal and Timeless Story of Grief". A group discussion will follow the video, and the story's themes, lessons and valuable coping strategies will be discussed.
