Oct. is Fire Prevention Month and a great time to plan ways that you can keep loved ones safe, develop a home fire escape plan and learn why smoke alarms important. Learn what your fire department wants you to know to keep you and your ones safe. Fire extinguishers are one element of a fire response plan, but primary element is a safe escape. Every household should have home fire escape plan and working smoke alarms. Kimberly Rideout, Fire and Life Safety Educator with Chesterfield Fire & EMS will present the program.
