This class includes low-to-intermediate level exercises that focus on strength, balance, flexibility, and cardio in a seated chair format. With upbeat music, a motivating instructor that celebrates every small win/growth, participants will build confidence, social connections, and a greater sense of independence. Every move is formulated to meet individual needs, making this class empowering and fun for every body. Pre-registration is required. Participants will need to be able to effectively communicate needs verbally or with a communication device and can follow 1 to 2 step visual or verbal instructions. Caregivers are asked to stay with participants who need 1:1 support. This program is being offered through our therapeutic recreation section.
