Description

The goal is to get the participant comfortable enough to play in Beginner/Advanced Beginner Leagues and Open Play as soon as possible. This is not a beginners' course and participants should have basic competency of the sport prior to registration.

This is an extension of Pickleball Beginner 101 which participants must have taken and passed before registering for Pickleball 102 Supervised Practice Drill and Play. An exception can be made if the participant has been playing pickleball for at least six consecutive months and has the instructor's permission before they register for the course. The first class will be devoted totally to "The Short Game", and the third class to "Strategy for Winning Each Point." Participants need to wear some type of eye protection (Regular eyeglasses, sunglasses, empty frame, or safety glasses) and court shoes (Tennis, pickleball, or volleyball).
