Come join a group of sewists in a relaxing afternoon/evening to sew, share, and socialize while you make progress on your sewing projects! This is a fun way to meet others who enjoy the same hobby and have company during an otherwise solitary pass-time. You are welcome to bring drinks and snacks to keep yourself energised throughout our time together. Sewing machines can also be borrowed during the sewcial if yours is too heavy to transport. (Marking pens and some other small sewing notions are also on site, large scissors, rotary cutters and cutting mats will have to be brought.) Sewcials are for sewists who are comfortable working mostly independently on their projects, though a sewing instructor will be hosting the Sewical to help with some questions, deciphering pattern instructions or for general advice/feedback/project suggestions. (The individual hosting the sewcial may not know answers to every sewing question or project construction.) Join the fun and create away!
