About this event

Learn to recognize local birds by sight or sound! This class is a field exploration of birds and birding localities of Marin County. The first class meets in the classroom for a slide show and lecture, featuring local seasonal birds, to be followed by a bird-watching walk. All other classes meet at field sites. Be sure to bring binoculars to the first day of class. An itinerary and directions to field sites will be distributed at the first class meeting. Students are responsible for their own transportation. First class: Tuesday, June 17 9:10am-1:10pm, Building 28B, Room 201, Indian Valley Campus Tuesdays: June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15 8:30am-12:30pm, Off-Campus Locations
