Description

Learn from a scientific illustrator from the Field Museum how to use various techniques to draw the plants, birds, and other animals you see in the preserves. The first and sixth classes are at Mayslake. The second and third meet at Fullersburg Woods, and the fourth and fifth are at Hidden Lake. Ages 18 and up. $200 per person. The class will take place mostly outdoors, weather permitting, and there will be walking. Wear comfortable and weather-appropriate attire and shoes and bring water. You may also want a portable stool or chair. In the event of bad weather, the default location will be inside Mayslake Hall. You'll receive a list of needed supplies after you register.
