Description
Learn how a raw sheep fleece goes from being a stinky, matted mess into soft beautiful roving ready for spinning! If you’re interested in spinning from wool that you’ve prepared yourself, or if you’re just curious about how the process of making wool yarn begins, this program is for you. Ages 8 and up; under 18 with an adult. $5 per person. To register by phone instead, call 630-850-8110.
Parking lot located on the east side of the intersection of York and Spring Road. Cross York at the crossing sign or use the underpass. The Graue House is on the corner of the intersection of York and Spring Road just south of the Mill.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty/stinky. Water bottles recommended. Wear close-toed shoes.
