Description
Join us for an all-day adventure on America's most famous highway, the Mother Road, US Route 66, as we explore some of the things that continue to make this byway famous. We will be visiting the small towns of Elwood, Wilmington, Braidwood, Dwight, Odell, and Pontiac, and seeing why they call Route 66 the Main Street of America, with an expert guide narrating the tour. Lunch will be at the famous Old Route 66 Family Restaurant in Dwight. Plenty of photo-ops and souvenir purchasing opportunities. Don't miss this chance to learn about Historic Route 66, celebrating its 100th birthday next year. Cost includes all our activities for the day, lunch and a comfortable coach bus with a restroom.
