Join us for this fantastic opportunity to experience Dear Jack, Dear Louise this July at Metropolis Performing Arts Center in Arlington Heights! When two strangers meet by letter during World War II, a captivating love story begins. U.S. Army Captain Jack Ludwig writes to Louise Rabiner, an aspiring actress in New York City, but the expanding war threatens to separate them permanently. This energetic, heartwarming comedy is infused with nostalgic nods to the era’s music, theater, and literature. Inspired by the true, WWII-era courtship of his parents, Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig fills Dear Jack, Dear Louise with romance, history, and charm.
Metropolis Performing Arts Center is a beautiful, close and small theatre with no bad seats! Before the play, we will dine at Armands Pizzeria for lunch. Cost includes the theatre ticket, lunch and a coach bus with a restroom. Don't miss this wonderful Saturday adventure! Registration deadline is July 7. ** Please not we will board the bus for this trip from the Main Recreation Center Parking lot.Age Category
