In this class you will learn to make and glaze slab bowls. Two bowls will contribute to the supply of bowls for the Empty Bowls Dinner here at Messalonskee High School in March that will help support the Food Pantries in our RSU 18 towns. The other two bowls you may take home to use as gifts or decorations. Dress in work clothes. There is a $15 materials fee, which covers the cost of the clay, glaze, and firing of your two bowls and is due to the instructor at the beginning of the first class. The instructor would like to encourage family members to join. Young people 8-17 years old, must be accompanied by a paying & participating parent or guardian.
