(Lewis Carroll) Traditional New England Barn Dances are social events with simple dances, lots of interaction, and a focus on community. Join us and dance to a variety of music including Old-Time, French Canadian, and Celtic. Dances are taught in a "walk-through" manner before we add music. Come with or without a partner–you will dance with a variety of people over the course of the session. Please wear comfortable clothes and soft soled shoes. All dance levels welcome! Patricia Campbell has more than 30 years of expertise instructing and directing a wide range of dancing styles, such as traditional square dance, international folk dance, contra-style, 18th-century/historical dance, and more. She currently hosts a weekly Zoom session called DanceTogether...Apart.
