About this event
Description
Join us at Squaxin Park for a creative outdoor experience using only nature’s cast-offs—leaves, pine cones, stones, and sticks—to craft temporary works of art. Inspired by the Buddhist practice of creating and letting go of sand mandalas, we will leave our creations behind as an act of non-attachment. Bring a camera to capture your artwork, as nothing will be taken home. Together, we’ll celebrate the beauty of both the natural world and our own imagination. Instructor: Lynn Fitz-Hugh, Thurston Friends of Trees
Class will meet in Shelter #1 next to Rose Garden.
