Description
Discover how Traditional Chinese Medicine’s 5 Element Theory can support your pet’s well-being through a holistic, personalized approach. Guided by a veterinarian with nearly 30 years of small animal care and 14 years in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, you’ll explore five foundational practices: acupressure, massage (Tui-Na), Qi-Gong, herbs, and food. Learn how to apply these techniques to balance your pet’s unique elemental makeup and support their health through daily routines. This course is educational, not medical, and is not intended to treat disease. No live animals are used; hands-on practice is done using stuffed animals or with peers by mutual agreement. Each class will start with a short Qi-Gong exercise period that incorporates breathing and gentle stretches to focus our minds on the present moment. Instructor: Kristi Hanna
