Description
In this fun-filled class, you'll learn some of the core components needed to playblues songs on the ukulele, including blues chord progressions, blues scales,blues chords, riffs and licks and turnarounds. Then you'll apply them as you playthrough some iconic blues tunes including "Got My Mojo Working," "The Thrill IsGone," "Hoochie-Coochie Man," "Sweet Home Chicago," and more. You’ll alsobe pleasantly surprised at how well the ukulele lends itself to the blues genre andthe joy that comes from playing and singing blues tunes. Please bring a uke (orguitar) capo and your soprano, concert, or tenor uke (no baritone ukes, please)Pre-requisite: Yes You Can Play The Ukulele Pt. 1 (or similar intro class) or beself-taught and be able to play at least 7 chords and transition between them.Bring you soprano, concert, or tenor uke (No baritone ukes, please!) a pick, anda uke capo to class.
