MAKING A DIFFERENCE SUMMER CAMP TEEN INTERNSHIP AGES 13-17 The Y believes that teens need a place to grow & mature. Let us introduce your teen to leadership/job skills that will help them build self confidence, feel a sense of accomplishment and build lifelong friendships with campers & staff. Your teen will gain knowledge and compassion working with children ages 5-12. This summer join the Y in its efforts to help create a summer filled with safe and fun adventures for our youth. ~~PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW, INCLUDING NEXT STEPS FOR TEEN INTERNS. Once all information is received and reviewed, those invited to participate in Teen Intern Camp will receive more information on how to complete their registration. CAMP LOCATION: The Lutheran Church of Resurrection 1555 Windmill Pointe Rd Palm Harbor FL 34685 CAMP SESSIONS: Weekly June 2nd - August 8th *NO CAMP Friday, July 4th - Fourth of July CAMP DAY: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM MANDATORY PARENT ORIENTATION: Option 1: Monday, May 12, 6-7pm Option 2: Saturday, May 17, 11am-Noon MANDATORY INTERN TRAINING DATES: PLEASE NOTE: Interns are required to attend all sessions. Training dates to be announced by the end of February. Interns attend trainings with summer camp staff. CAMP FEES: Members - TOTAL SUMMER FEE: $200* Non-Members - TOTAL SUMMER FEE: $265* *Fee ($200/$265) is the total fee for the program for the entire summer. It is not a weekly fee. This entire fee is due upon registration. NEXT STEPS FOR PROSPECTIVE INTERNS: *All prospective interns must complete and submit the Teen Intern Application, found below under the MORE INFORMATION section, as well as on our website at www.suncoastymca.org. Once the review is complete, parents and teens will receive more information including how to register. *Please note, a Google account is needed to complete the form. This can be accomplished by having or creating a FREE Gmail account, or creating a FREE Google account.
