This class is perfect for dancers at the beginner to intermediate level, offering a great mix of building a strong foundation and exploring ballet technique through movement. We focus on learning ballet terminology, perfecting alignment and improving body placement, all while enhancing posture, balance and flexibility. The class begins at the barre with a variety of exercises to boost coordination and muscle memory. As we progress, dancers move to center work and across-the-floor combinations that challenge strength, control and fluidity. Dancers with previous dance experience may want to try Intermediate/Advanced Adult Ballet.
