Description

Denver Colorado Ball Hockey (DCBH), in partnership with Parker Fieldhouse and the National Ball Hockey League (NBHL), is launching a new Coed ball hockey league. Recognizing the popularity of hockey in Denver, DCBH aims to expand access to the sport by offering an organized, fun, safe, and fair ball hockey experience. This league provides a unique opportunity to participate in hockey without the need for skates, fostering growth within the community.

• 10 week season
• Games played Tuesdays from 6-8PM
• Teams will be co-ed, 15- 20 players. 3 full lines, 3 D pair, and G plus any subs
• Teams will be made based on skill level and position info gathered during sign-up
• USA Ball Hockey rules.
• Game time: Three 15 minute periods. Penalty time 1:30. Last minute stopped, penalty time stopped. 1 minute intermissions. Immediate 3 person shootout if necessary. Games can end in a tie due to tight time frame.
• Playoffs will be determined once we have a final number of teams
• Trophy for winning team, returned at the start of next season

Coed Division: The league is comprised of recreational teams with both male and female players of varied experience. Teams participate for fun and competition but understand that winning isn’t the entire purpose of the game. This is a non-contact sport. Intentional contact is prohibited. Aggressive behavior may result in suspension or expulsion from future games/events without the possibility of a fee refund, at the discretion of DCBH and/or the Town of Parker.At the discretion of the league administration, poor sportsmanship may result in the expulsion of one or more players from a game, a season, or from all DCBH and Town of Parker sports leagues or events (expelled players will not receive a refund of fees paid to participate in the league). We are serious about penalizing poor sportsmanship.
Season schedules will be shared prior to the first game. The season will run for 10 weeks including a playoff. Prizes for Champions will be communicated to team captains. Playoff formats are determined by the number of teams registered.

• Participants will register as an individual to be placed onto a team by DCBH. If you are seeking to register a team, please contract Justin Fiore at denvercoballhockey@gmail.com
• Season- July 8th - September 9th. Games are played between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Teams and team captains will decided when registration closes. Teams and schedule will be published one week before season start.

• All players must satisfy all required DCBH forms, including waivers, and payment of annual insurance (this is payable directly to Justin Fiore on site) before participating in any DCBH games or events. Valid picture identification may be requested and play may be denied if such identification is not available.

Equipment: Players must bring their own equipment. Shin guards, mouth guards, hockey gloves, eye protection, groin protection, and other protective equipment is recommended for all participants. DCBH and the Town of Parker are not responsible if you fail to adequately protect yourself. Teams may be asked to wear white or black shirts for certain games if colors are deemed to be too similar.Game Officials/Referees: 1-2 NBHL Certified Referee/officials will clarify any game-specific rules each week.Interested in Reffing?
