Description

Your child will learn how to be a safe boater; explore sculling and fine turning of both front and back crawl techniques. Swimmers will begin learning the whip kick, kneeling dives and treading water. Endurance will be developed up to a distance of 50 metres.

Meet at Swim Bay by the lifeguard chair. Bring a towel and warm up clothes. Swim goggles permitted.

In case of inclement weather, such as cold, rain or electrical storm, the class may be postponed. Call the recreation department at 250-767-2133 for updates.
