Tackle exciting survival games and challenges using the Engineering Design Process. This camp introduces the world of wilderness survival using scientific thinking and invention. Campers are challenged to build natural shelters, navigate using GPS, and practice the science-based secrets of tracking and stealth. Skills are woven into each day camp's storytelling, discussions, and team challenges. GeoVentures is dedicated to reconnecting people with the outdoors through nature-based adventures. Utilizing games, technology and unique storylines, programs introduce participants to new activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle and connection with the world that surrounds them. Former TPS science teacher, Wendy Furry, leads this organization.
