It’s pumpkin season! As chilly winds sweep the leaves from the trees, these gorgeous gourds swell on the vine to become whimsical decorations and delicious autumn treats. But how did pumpkins become such an important part of fall? Come learn about the history of pumpkins, decorate mini pumpkins with creative designs, and make a tasty pumpkin snack. The day will culminate in a mysterious and magical Pumpkin Harvest Hunt. Programs run from 9:00am - 3:00pm, with drop-off available between 8:00 - 9:00am and prompt pick-up between 3:00 - 4:00pm. Drop-off & pick-up will take place at the front desk of the Lombard campus. There is a scheduled snack break and lunch time for all students. Each student must bring a packed lunch (with a drink) from home.
