Join our friends from GeoVentures for an exciting week connecting the natural world with science. Learn about our world through safe and nature-friendly science experiments, use plants to cause magic color changes, play with non-newtonian slimes, create a rainbow volcano and more! Each day will include games, hands-on activities, discussion and teamwork. This camp will take place in one of our Kindergarten cottages on our main campus - a tree-filled and grassy campus in historic Germantown. About GeoVentures: GeoVentures was started by a parent of two GFS students. We are proud to host them at GFS for 3 years in a row! GeoVentures’ mission is to get people active & back outdoors. They’re dedicated to reconnecting people with the outdoors through nature-based adventures. Utilizing games, technology and unique storylines, their programs introduce participants to new activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle and connection with the world that surrounds them. GeoVentures instructors are highly trained, certified and have a love for connecting people with nature. They have a passion for working with kids, infectious enthusiasm and the ability to be a positive role model.
