Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing in this hands-on, small group setting. Students will explore the basics of working on the pottery wheel, including centering, shaping, and trimming.
Additional Information: Students will take turns throwing. When you're not on the wheel, you'll have the opportunity to create through hand building with clay, exploring techniques like slab work and coiling.
Tuition does not include clay material. Participants may purchase clay from Trinity Ceramics or directly from the instructor.

You will need to purchase 25lbs of clay prior to the start of class. The most common clay used is called trinity white. Clay can be purchased at: Trinity Ceramic Supply. Please call Kenneth Bentley if you have any questions at 972-208-8327.
