A fun filled week riding the local trails around Gates Park, outdoor games, crafts and playtime at the Community Centre outdoor playground and spray park!
Confident riders will strengthen existing bike skills, steer and brake over different surfaces and have fun maneuvering through obstacle courses, over ramps and teeter totters. Bike, trail, road and crosswalk safety prepare riders for a week of safe riding.
Prerequisite:
- Completion of Little Sprockets 2nd Gear or
- Ability to ride a familiar bike independently and longer distances
Equipment:
- Participants supply their own bike and helmet and are familiar with riding the bike
- Success happens when bikes are the right size, well maintained and mechanically sound: inflated tires, working breaks and gears (if applicable) and a secure chain.
- Ability to sit on the bike with toes touching the ground is required
What to Bring:
- Your own bike and helmet
- Water bottle
- Small knapsack with NUT FREE lunch and large snack
- Swimsuit and towel on Mon, Wed and Fri
- Runners and dress for the weather
- Sunscreen and hat

8:55 to 9am - Meet at Gate Park children's playground, 2300 Reeve Street, PoCo
9 to 9:15am - Daily sign in, health and bike safety check
9:15 to 2:55pm - Bike skills and safety, riding, lunch, games and spray park
2:55 to 3:00pm - Pick up and sign out in Arena Lobby, east side of Port Coquitlam Community Centre 2150 Wilson Ave
